Wash & Care Instructions

To maintain the integrity of the 100s count fine cotton and the brilliance of the zari, please follow these care guidelines:

First Wash: A professional Dry Clean is highly recommended for the first wash to set the colors and preserve the gold zari.

Subsequent Washes: If washing at home, use cold water and a mild, protein-based detergent. Hand wash gently; do not wring or scrub the zari border.

Color Protection: To prevent color bleeding, soak the saree in cold water mixed with a pinch of rock salt for 10–15 minutes during the initial home washes.

Drying: Always dry the saree in a shaded area away from direct sunlight to prevent the colors from fading.

Ironing: Use a medium-to-hot steam iron. It is best to iron the saree on the reverse side, especially over the zari work, to maintain its luster.
