Wash & Care Instructions

To preserve the integrity of the fine weave and the vibrancy of the dyes, please follow these care guidelines:

First Wash: It is highly recommended to Dry Clean for the first wash to set the colors and maintain the crispness of the cotton.

Subsequent Washes: If washing at home, use a mild liquid detergent in cold water. Do not soak the saree for more than 5–10 minutes.

Color Protection: Add a pinch of salt to the cold water during the first few home washes to help lock in the deep purple dye.

Drying: Never wring the saree. Instead, gently squeeze out excess water and shade dry on a flat surface or a padded hanger. Avoid direct sunlight to prevent fading.

Ironing: Use a medium-hot iron. For best results, iron while the saree is slightly damp or use a steam iron. Always iron the Zari work on the reverse side.
