Wash & Care Instructions

To maintain the brilliance of the colors and the integrity of the 100s count weave, please follow these care guidelines:

First Wash: We strictly recommend Dry Clean for the first wash to set the colors and the zari.

Subsequent Washes: If hand-washing at home, use cold water and a mild, protein-based detergent (like a wool/silk wash).

Color Protection: Wash the saree separately. Do not soak for more than 5–10 minutes, as dark vegetable dyes and high-contrast colors may bleed slightly in the initial washes.

Drying: Never wring the saree. Gently squeeze out excess water and dry in shade to prevent the magenta and purple hues from fading under direct sunlight.

Ironing: Use a medium-to-hot steam iron. For the zari border, iron on the reverse side or place a thin cotton cloth over it to maintain its luster.

Note: As this is a hand-loomed product, slight irregularities in the weave are a mark of its authentic handmade nature and add to its unique charm.
